Nederlandse kunstenaars geinspireerd door Japanse gedichten “mijn geboortestad, Fukushima”
Gogyoshi Art Project int. is een non-profit kunstproject dat zich ten doel stelt een brug te slaan tussen Oost en West door kunst te maken op de vijfregelgedichten (gogyoshi) van Taro Aizu. Zijn gedichten uit o.a. “My Fukushima” en “The precious earth” vormen de inspiratiebron en verhalen over de gevolgen van de tsunami en de kernramp in Fukushima, maart 2011. Hij beschrijft op bijna fotografische helderheid wat hij ziet, voelt en denkt, waardoor hoop, liefde, eenvoud en verwondering voelbaar worden.
GAPi wil de getroffenen van deze rampen een hart onder de riem steken, steun en hoop geven. Verbondenheid en respect tonen.
GAPi heeft al diverse tentoonstellingen gehad in Nederland, Duitsland, Portugal, Spanje, Brazilië, Macedonië en Zuid-Korea.
Deze twee gedichten heeft Mief gekregen en heeft over deze gedichten twee grote aquarels gemaakt.
Dutch artists inspired by Japanese poems “my home town, Fukushima”
Gogyoshi Art Project int. is a non-profit art project that aims to build a bridge between East and West by creating art on the five line poems (gogyoshi) of Taro Aizu. His poems from, among others, “My Fukushima” and “The precious earth” form the source of inspiration and stories about the consequences of the tsunami and the nuclear disaster in Fukushima, March 2011. He describes on almost photographic clarity what he sees, feels and thinks, giving hope , love, simplicity and wonder can be felt. GAPi wants to support the victims of these disasters, give them support and hope. Show connection and respect.
GAPi has already had various exhibitions in the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Macedonia and South Korea.
Mief received these two poems and made two large watercolors over these poems.
